A Taste of Paradise Collection

BAJA BORA BORA MAYA BAY

The Taste of Paradise collection is four all-natural gourmet sauces inspired by exotic destinations. In 2012, Kyoto Ginger-Teriyaki Marinade (Japanese) was added to the collection, joining Maya Bay (Thailand), Bora Bora (French Polynesian), and Baja (Mexican). We welcome you to explore. These sauces can be used right out of the bottle as a condiment, or you can get creative with them. Our recipe pages provide a wide range of recipe ideas and we always welcome your suggestions!

Maya Bay a sheltered cove in Thailand with white sandy beaches, clear blue water cradled by stunning rock cliffs. This Thai inspired sauce is great as a marinade for chicken or to drizzle on seared scallops or other seafood. With the addition of some balsamic vinegar, it makes a great salad dressing.  Use it as a dip for Crusty Bread as an alternative to Olive Oil.  Try our Thai Pizza recipe too. Maya Bay was awarded 1st place as a meat condiment at the 2012 Scovie awards!

Bora Bora is a paradise in French Polynesia.  Reminiscent of this, is our Bora Bora sauce. Tamarind, California dates and exotic organic chile combine to give this sauce its unique fruitiness with an exciting kick on the finish.  Try it on pork loin and ribs, or your favorite meat. We love it for pulled pork and for making jerky!  Try our recipe for Bora Bora burgers with caramelized onion and cream cheese. Customers suggestions include: pairing with cream cheese, as a dip for sweet potato fries or potatoes of any kind, even jazzing up brussel sprouts.  This sauce is Gluten-Free and vegan friendly!

Baja is the colorful Cal-Mexican peninsula in the Pacific. Our Baja marinade and grill sauce echos the familiar flavors of Smoky Chipotles and lime, with a jalapeno kick!  Definitely our spiciest sauce. Brush Baja on fish and seafood in the final minutes of cooking.  Chicken, Beef, Pork all shout 'Fiesta' when marinated in Baja sauce. Check out our recipe for Baja Fiesta platter with warm tortillas and all the trimmings. This sauce is Gluten Free and vegan friendly. Baja was awarded two 3rd place awards at the 2012 Scovie awards as a meat condiment and as a mild BBQ sauce. Give it a try!

Kyoto is an exquisite historical city in Japan. Our Kyoto ginger-teriyaki marinade is an award winning recipe which we inherited when we acquired the Big Acres Gourmet brand. Uniquely, this marinade is crafted with honey and red-wine.  It is a family-friendly favorite adding enhancing chicken, seafood, noodles, pot stickers, and sushi.
